When September arrives, doesn’t it feel like you are starting a new year? Even if you don’t have children or don’t work for a school or university, somehow that rhythm from when we were young of starting a new school year remains with us. It’s a fresh start!

Over the years of talking to people in my work and personal life, I know that as we gear up for the fall, we want to feel organized, clear, and focused. We want a plan in place! We want to feel rooted in what matters AND able to honor it. We want to feel on top of it all — AND we want to be WELL in it all.

But often, what happens is we end up getting inundated with requests, forms to sign, and schedules to make that change again and again and again. Our plans get thwarted. After the newness wears off of getting Pumpkin Spiced lattes and wearing sweaters, the pace can start to feel too frantic. What’s on our plates is too much. We might end up feeling overwhelmed. And anything that we really wanted for ourselves — for our wellbeing — gets trampled over by the flood of info., requests, deadlines, details, and schedule changes.

I’m big on setting ourselves up for success and going into any new season with intention, clarity, and focus, based on soulful discernment. I like to have a vision and a soulful intention for the vibe I want to have, the pace I want to go at, the things I want to (and don’t want to) give energy to, what matters to me, the boundaries I need to keep in place to keep me sane and healthy, and practices I want to have in place to find balance, harmony, agency, and even (I’m saying this a lot more in my 50s) fun and nourishment for my mind, body, and soul.

I want to feel resourced to navigate the inevitable “winds of change” to schedules and plans. I want to have breathing space to laugh, be quiet, move my body, and reflect. I want to stay aligned with what deeply matters to me. WITH joy and delight.

Join us for an immersive and interactive 2.5-hour live online workshop designed to help you soulfully and practically assess and enhance your wellbeing as you step into the “new year.”

1. Get a clear and quick snapshot of your current wellbeing

We will start with a holistic assessment exercise so you get a clear visual snapshot of your current state of wellbeing across multiple dimensions.

I’ll share with you my totally revised Wheel of Life Assessment that helps you get quick + soulful insight into where your strengths are and what areas need attention. I’ll guide you to home in on what really matters to you and help you get clear.

2. Visualize your joy.

I have a fun and simple way of “goal setting” or vision-creating that fuels more joy (vs anxiety and self-judgment). I’ll lead you through a reflection that will bring to light what really matters to you and where you want to be.

3. Create a personalized Wellness Roadmap

I want to set you up for “success” so you actually live your joy and feel revitalized as you are on your journey (vs overwhelmed, anxious and scattered). I’ll share key practices that help you stay on the path/road in your joy journey. I’ll show you how to practically and realistically focus your attention and actions for the fall. I’ll share with you soulful and somatic practices that you can gather and put into your wellness toolkit tailored to your unique aspirations to keep fueled on your journey.
