Alright, folks, I’ve been hearing a lot from everyone that we feel stuck and somewhat depressed right now.
Some of you are asking me if you have Seasonal Affect Disorder.
Some of you are swirling with thoughts and thoughts and thoughts!
Your thoughts are looping over and over again. You think and think and think about “it” – the challenge in your marriage, your next career move, your child’s anxiety, the mess of your life – but you still don’t have an answer and you feel like you are losing hope. You feel stuck.
Alright, let’s prevent despair and hopelessness from setting in and get you moving into feeling revitalized.
What can you do?
I know this: You can’t THINK your way out of feeling stuck! You’ll just keep looping.
What actually helps – and quickly?
Get moving. Literally.
For goodness sake, don’t sit and try to keep figuring it out – going online and looking for answers or asking Chatgpt what to do. Stop doom scrolling on social media, falling further into the abyss of apathy.
Instead: Move. Your. Body.
Research shows that people who exercise regularly have better mental health and emotional well-being, and lower rates of mental illness.
And get this – you don’t have to go hard core to reap the benefits.
Just a simple walk (especially outside!) can:
– lift your mood, give you your dose of Vitamin D, and reset your circadian rhythm (Source: NBC)
– lower the risk of heart attack, lower blood pressure, and “release a protein called BDNF, or brain-derived neurotrophic factor. Some experts refer to BDNF as ‘Miracle-Gro for the brain’ because it encourages the growth of new brain cells, which can help ward off memory loss and dementia (Source: Prevention Magazine. )
Sounds, great right?!

I started doing more of these Walk and Talk sessions during the pandemic, and clients still want these! (If you are a current client and want to do a walk and talk session – once in awhile or all the time – just let me know!).
In these sessions, we’ll focus on getting you out of the loop of complaining, thinking, moodiness, lethargy…and into feeling re-energized. We’ll talk about your deeper desires, what you really want to experience in life, and step out of (!) what holds you back.

Get out of your head and into your body. No more mindless talking. This is where we drop the chatter and get into real change – where we move beyond words and into the wisdom of your body, intuition, and joy.
In 2025, I am incorporating even more somatic practices into my work with clients. We are getting out of our heads and into our bodies.
Here’s a taste of what you could move into (pun intended!) experiencing and what I’ll be sharing more of with clients:
• Grounding Techniques: be guided into experiences of safely arriving here, connecting to your body and the earth, into your breath, and into your heart.
• Breathing Exercises: use your breath to shift your mood.
• Gentle Movement: release physical and emotional blocks with organic movements that bring vitality back to your body.
• Creative Practices: tap into your subconscious with guided journaling, drawing, or painting, unlocking insights and deeper connections to your inner world.
• Sound Meditations: use the healing power of sound to calm the nervous system, elevate your mood, and restore your energy.
• Energetic and Somatic Practices: release stuck energy and realign your body through chakra work, tapping, and energy movement exercises.
• Connecting to the Elements: connect with the elements of earth, water, fire, air, and spirit—to restore balance and flow within your body.
• Meditations: I’ll guide you in the kinds of meditations that best serve you.
